A Place Of Refuge.
Our Why
Why do we do what we do? It’s pretty simple: because Jesus left the 99 to rescue us, and we are to do the same. He so graciously snatched us from the pits of hell and He has asked us to snatch others from hell as we are taught in Jude 1:23.
Hi! My name is Tasha. I am the Founder and Director of Hills & Valleys: A Healing Place. I am a childhood trauma survivor myself and can relate to and understand these women in our program. I was sexually abused for years as a child by my grandfather and spent years after the secret came out trying to deal with the chaos that was left behind. It wasn’t until I learned who I was in Christ and who He was that I found true freedom and healing. This is a calling from The Lord on my life that Holy Spirit birthed in me in 2021 in the midst of my healing.
Our mission is to teach others who they are in Christ, who Jesus is, and help them find true freedom in a safe place where they can heal and grow. Simply put, we are a place of refuge.

Testimonials
Coming across Hills & Valleys was nothing short of an answered prayer.
For quite some time, my daughter struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. We sought help everywhere — doctors, psychiatrists, therapists, Christian counselors — and tried numerous medications. Despite all of it, nothing seemed to work. I felt completely hopeless. In my desperation, I prayed and asked God to place someone in our path who could truly help us.
That’s when He brought us Tasha.
From the time my daughter began coaching sessions with Tasha, we started to see real improvement. Hope began to return. We later participated in family sessions, and through those, our family relationships began to heal and be restored.
In the midst of my daughter’s journey, I realized that I also needed support. I had struggled with anxiety for most of my life, but it intensified significantly during her darkest season. I felt overwhelmed and unsure how to process everything I was carrying. I was never someone who opened up easily, yet from our very first conversation, Tasha created a space where I felt safe to share.
Over several sessions, she — alongside the Holy Spirit — gently walked me through my emotions and past traumas. I began to understand who I am in Christ and what it truly means to surrender every area of my life to God. That surrender became the starting point of genuine healing.
Tasha’s faithfulness and obedience to her calling played a vital role in restoring my life and helping to restore my family. I will forever be grateful that God led me to Tasha and Hills & Valleys. This is truly a Christ-centered ministry that serves as the hands and feet of Jesus —spreading His love and setting the captives free.
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” Luke 4:18 NKJV
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1Peter 5:10 NIV

Walking into Hills & Valleys for the first time marked the beginning of a healing journey from wounds and scars I didn’t even realize I was carrying. Surrounded by faithful women, grounded in Scripture, and connected through both shared and diverse failures and victories, I began to recognize deep emotional pain and trauma I had long convinced myself was “normal”—some buried quietly under shame or guilt.
While I haven’t yet begun to fully examine all of it, Hills & Valleys has given me a safe and loving space to simply be—to allow the emotions, thoughts, and reactions to surface without fear or judgment. I entered during a difficult season feeling isolated, conflicted, and weighed down, and I was met with compassion, faith, and women who truly listen. This ministry reflects Christ’s love in a powerful and life-changing way.
God has used this community to begin restoring hope in my heart and reminding me that I am never alone. Hills & Valleys is more than a place—it is a true community. Through Bible studies that strengthen my faith, the comfort found among other women, and relationships that are growing and deepening, I have experienced life-giving connection. I have grown spiritually, emotionally, and personally because of the women who pour their hearts into this ministry.
Here, I have found faith, the promise of healing, and bonds of sisterhood. Hills & Valleys has helped me reconnect with God and find a supportive, understanding, and grace-filled community where I pray I can continue recognizing, addressing, and healing emotional wounds I have carried for years. The peace I feel each time I arrive—peace that overtakes the daily chaos of life—is truly unmatched. I am forever grateful and deeply encouraged by the growing number of groups and participants, spanning from teens to women rich in wisdom. -Keli A.
