Part of our ministry has expanded to a branch of Hills & Valleys: A Healing Place ministry called Trauma Redemption Homes. Our homes will provide the same mission as H&V, but we will offer living quarters to fulfill this vision.
Our mission is to offer a safe home for rest, healing, and restoration for at-risk women coming out of trauma in a non-toxic environment through our Trauma Restoration Programs. Women find freedom, hope, healing, and their identity at our Trauma Redemption Homes with our long-term care and transitional housing to become successful members of society.
These homes are not sober-living homes or group homes, these are God’s daughter’s homes. This will be a place for the woman that has never healed from her childhood, the woman that needs help getting back on her feet after domestic violence, the woman whose nervous system never healed, the young adult who gets thrown out of foster care because she’s too old for the system, the young lady who has been sexually abused by her grandfather or uncle and needs a place to heal, the young lady who was kicked out of the house just because she turned 18, the woman who doesn’t even know who she is and doesn’t know where to start, the little girl who doesn’t know how to be a woman.
Each woman will have a plan tailored to her needs and will have a team of women holding their hands and guiding them through each step of their journey. Their time spent at the home will be determined on their needs. No less than 1 year and no greater than 2 years.
These women will learn:
to rest
to heal properly ( slow and steady )
to be loved like they have never been loved
their God-given identity
responsibilities
to be functional healthy adults by the time they complete our program
We believe everyone deserves a chance to heal and flourish. Someone took our hands and walked us through the fire, and we will do the same.
Isaiah 43:1- “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity]; I have called you by name; you are Mine!”
